Switzerland has 3 main international airpots, situated in Zurich, Geneva and Basel .

• Zurich Airport ( Flughafen Zürich )

It is the biggest airport in Switzerland with flights from and to every continent and one of the busiest in Europe and it is hub for Swiss International Airlines. It has three well connected terminals - (Gates A, B/D, and E).

From Zurich Airport you can reach every corner of Switzerland by train. There is a train station at the airpot. You can reach either Zurich Hauptbahnhof ( Zurich Main Railway Station) or other stations is Switzerland.

You can also reach the centre of Zurich by public transpiration - Tram 10 will take you to the downtime Zurich.

• Geneva Airport (GENÈVE AÉROPORT, French: Aéroport de Genève, German: Flughafen Genf)

Geneva Airport is situated in the south-west part of Switzerland, it is the second biggest in Switzerland. It has many International flights to North America (incl. New York -JFK), China, Middle East and of course many European destinations.

The easiest way to reach Geneva from Geneva Airport is by train. For just 7 min , you will reach Cornavin train station ( Main Railway Station of Geneva)

• Basel Airport - EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg

Basel Airport is smaller airport in the north of Switzerland. It is actually divided between Switzerland and France and it is located in French territory, it serves Switzerland, France and German that is why the name.

There are many low-cost flights from all over Europe, holiday destitinations and also Eastern Europe. It might be a cheaper way to travel to Switzerland from Europe.

Basel is about 1 hour away from Zurich and from the Basel central station, you can reach every corner of Switzerland as well.

There is no direct train from EuroAirport to Basel, so you can take a bus to Basel Hauptbahnhof ( Basel Main Railway Station).
